Welcoming of Rev. Fr. Rikinson BANTOU
New Parochial Vicar To Notre Dame d’Haiti Catholic Church: Archdiocese of Miami
The Word of the Lord came to me saying: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart… See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down… to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:5-10
On this note, with joy and thanksgiving to the Lord, we welcome Fr. Rikinson BANTOU to the Catholic Church Community of Notre Dame d’ Haiti as the new Parochial Vicar.
Today is the beginning of a new month. It is also the beginning of a new chapter in the Book of the ministerial life of Notre Dame d’ Haiti Catholic Church.
Your presence, Fr. BANTOU is a blessing to us, for your priesthood is the priesthood of the High Priest, Jesus Christ. Just as the Lord has promised to Jeremiah, know that you are not alone in your ministry. It is in line of that, I am requesting that you, the leaders of the groups, choirs and ministries, to join the Parish Clergy along with the staff of the Parish Office to welcome Fr. Rikinson BANTOU.
Rest assured of both, our prayers and support!
May the Beloved Mother, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Our Patroness, keep you well under Her umbrella of Grace!
With Gratitude:
Rev, Fr. Reginald Jean-Mary, Administrator
Welcome to the Website of Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Mission.
It is both a joy and a blessing having you with us. Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Mission is a vibrant, joyful, welcoming, responsive and committed community. Located in the heart of Little Haiti, Notre-Dame d’Haiti Mission remains the living room of the Haitian community in the diaspora, most especially in South Florida. It is the point of encounter between the Haitians living abroad and the ones in Haiti. Whenever you are here, you feel at home; you feel a sense of belonging.
Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Mission is a spiritual oasis, a safe haven for our Haitian-American community in South Florida. It is a life line community center where the spiritual, the social and the educational meet together. Moreover, it is an intergenerational community where young and old celebrate each other as a gift rather than a threat to one’s existence. Above all, Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Mission is your home, my home, and our home. Therefore, welcome and find your seat in this great house of the Lord. On this sacred ground we revere Our Blessed Mother under the title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help as Our Patroness and the Patroness of Our homeland, Haiti.
Once again, WELCOME AND BLESSINGS
